King of Kings enthusiastically welcomes all children and youth. We offer a variety of programs to engage our children and youth in worship, education, outreach, and fun activities. Our Sunday worship includes a children’s sermon, and children regularly take an active role in the worship service as acolytes, readers, and more.
Children’s Sunday School
The goal of the Sunday School program is to provide children with the basic foundations upon which to build their Christian faith. King of Kings offers Sunday School to members of the congregation and visitors for Pre-K though 8th grade. Classes run from Sunday after Labor Day through May.
The King of Kings Middle School Youth Group is open to all 5th through 8th graders. MSYG meets twice a month and alternates monthly between a service projects/fundraisers and fun middle school events.
The Senior High Youth Group (9th-12th grade) meets during the school year twice a month. SHYG participates in service events for our congregation, outside community events, and fun SHYG outings and activities.
Confirmation at King of Kings is a two-year process for those in the 7th and 8th grades.
